Calendula cream


My homemade calendula cream. I´ve made this recipe many times and I love it.
It´s easy to make. Here is the recipe:

100ml calendula oil*
20g beeswax
3-4 drops of essential oil of your choice (I used lemon balm) this is an optional ingredient

Melt all the ingredients in the top of a double boiler until the wax is melted.
Pour into glass jars to cool.

*cold infusion method: put your desired amount of dried calendula petals in a glass jar, fill the jar with your oil of choice to cover the petals; put in sunny place to infuse for 4 weeks; drain the petals from the oil and store your oil in a container with a lid for up to one year)
